Polaris Wellbeing Visits Ltd provides structured companionship and reassurance visits tailored to individual needs. Visit schedules are agreed in advance with clients and/or families. Visits may include regular weekly visits, short reassurance visits, appointment escort visits, and community access support. Visit duration and frequency are confirmed before support begins.

COMPANIONSHIP VISITS
Friendly, meaningful visits that reduce loneliness, promotes engagement, build confidence, and support emotional wellbeing.
SHORT WELLBEING CHECK-IN VISITS
Short visits to ensure safety, routine, hydration, nutrition reminders, emotional reassurance and peace of mind to loved ones.
SHOPPING SUPPORT
Support with essential errands, maintaining independence at home, weekly shopping, picking up prescriptions, posting letters, and other everyday tasks.
APPOINTMENT ESCORT SUPPORT
We provide safe, reliable support attending GP appointments, hospital visits, therapy sessions, and community activities.
Transport should be arranged by the client or their family.
For safeguarding and insurance purposes, our carers do not transport clients in their own vehicles. Our role is to provide accompaniment and support throughout the journey and appointment, and safe return home as needed.
This helps ensure visits remain safe, consistent and within agreed service boundaries.
We provide support attending:
- GP appointments
- hospital visits
- community activities
- shopping trips
For safeguarding and insurance reasons, our carers do not transport clients in their own vehicles. Our role is to accompany and support clients during appointments and outings.
COMMUNITY ACCESS SUPPORT
Support accessing:
- Local walks
- Social activities
- Community events
- Visiting friends (helping individuals remain connected and confident).
FAMILY REASSURANCE UPDATES
We can provide regular updates to families following visits, helping keep relatives informed about the wellbeing and general welfare of their loved ones where requested.
IMPORTANT SERVICE BOUNDARY
Polaris Wellbeing Visits Ltd provides companionship and wellbeing visits only.
We do not provide:
- Personal care
- Dressing support
- Medication administration
- Moving and handling support (Lifting and hoisting)
- Clinical or healthcare services
- Financial Management
If regulated care becomes necessary, we are happy to support families in identifying appropriate providers.
